VendorSelect is a web-based vendor evaluation & selection system for managing the sourcing and procurement phase of your information technology projects. Because they were developed with generic sourcing and procurement needs in mind, most eRFX tools are not well-suited to the acquisition of information technology products and services. VendorSelect is different.

Focus on IT Acquisitions

Designed specifically for information technology sourcing and procurement, VendorSelect includes all of the functionality and flexibility necessary for technology acquisitions. In most cases, for even the simplest of your IT projects, you will need to analyze numerous technology vendor offerings and weigh them against hundreds of decision points relative to your unique business needs and project- and environment-specific requirements. You would benefit from an efficient means of collecting vendor data and consistently scoring capabilities and competencies across your vendor pool, and VendorSelect is up to the challenge.

Increased Efficiencies and Better Project Outcomes

Creating a competitive bidding environment for your technology project, and ultimately selecting the best vendor or consultant, helps you contain cost and maximize the probability of project success.

By using VendorSelect, sophisticated vendor questionnaires and requirements sets can be drafted, issued, and answered online, and vendor responses scored, weighted and analyzed using charting tools. Create your own questionnaires and requirements sets (including the ability to upload your existing documents), or build upon the numerous project-specific templates residing in the VendorSelect system. Numerous buyer-favorable agreements (License Agreements, Conulting Services Agreements, etc.) are available within the system and may be added to your project at any time.

VendorSelect's Four-Step Process

Instead of relying upon separate paper documents, lenghty e-mail chains, and Excel spreadsheets, VendorSelect manages your entire evaluation and selection process in a single, integrated, multi-user web application.

1. Create Your Project

Define your evaluation criteria, and add supporting file attachments, such as documents, pictures, flow-charts, and diagrams.

2. Invite Vendors to Respond

Pick vendors from your private address book, the system's public address book, or invite by e-mail. Publish public project announcements through VendorSelect, a 3rd-party service, or both.

3. Respondents Answer Online

Respondents can have multiple people working online, answering different sections and questions in the questionnaire, and uploading supporting documentation.

4. Analyze, Compare and Score Respondents

Supplier responses are automatically aggregated to support comparative scoring, weighting, and evaluation through graphical charts. Data can be exported to XML, CSV or Excel rfp formats. Select a single vendor or create your vendor shortlist. Optionally, provide vendor feedback.
