Ensuring Success for Large Information Technology Projects

A new white paper entitled "Ensuring Success for Large Information Technology Projects" will be released in February 2011. Nuckles co-authored this paper along with representatives of Base Consulting LLC, Perr & Knight, Qualcorp, Capitol Insurance Companies, Wyde Solutions, and StoneRiver. Large information technology projects undertaken by insurance carriers is a subcontext for the paper, but the concepts discussed apply generally to any large information technology project. We'll link to the white paper after it is published, or feel free to contact us for your copy.

Vendor Select For RIS/PACS Projects

VendorSelect™ has now been expanded to include coverage for RIS/PACS projects. Developing requirements and evaluation criteria for any technology project can be a daunting task, and RIS/PACS projects are no exception. You can jumpstart your RIS/PACS project by starting with the comprehensive requirements set already contained within VendorSelect™ and customizing it to your unique needs and preferences – you may want to drop certain of the existing requirements, amplify others, or add entirely new requirements that you develop. You can then use the full functionality of VendorSelect™ to contact RIS/PACS vendors you choose and efficiently and effectively score and analyze their data. VendorSelect™ helps you make your final best-fit vendor selection with confidence. You can learn more about VendorSelect™ here or within Client Services.

Additional Coverage For Vendor Select

A number of extensions to Vendor Select™ are planned for 2011. In addition the the existing coverage of EMR/EHR software (EMR Select™) and RIS/PACS systems, we'll be adding coverage for additional healthcare information technology, including Enterprise Document Management, Revenue Cycle Management, and Patient Portals. Feel free to contact us with questions about Vendor Select™ or its current coverage.
