The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the opening of registration for the EHR Incentive Program. Eligible Professionals and Eligible Hospitals may register on and after January 3, 2011. You can learn more about the EHR Incentive Program, eligibility requirements, registration requirements, and attestation requirements here.

CMS is encouraging Eligible Professionals and Eligible Hospitals to register as soon as possible. It is possible to register before installation or implementation of an EHR system.
